Super Star / Starman[]
The Super Star is a powerup in the Mario series. It briefly makes Mario invincible. They are also called Starmen, Invincible Stars, and Invincible Starmen. Usually, if Mario collides with eight enemies while invincible, he will get a 1-up. This usually makes drivers rainbow.
In Mario Kart Wii, functions the same as normal, except it will harm other players.
