The Spear is the fastest vehicle in the game, known as the Torpedo in other parts of the world, is a bike for heavyweight characters in Mario Kart Wii. It is the fastest bike in the game, and resembles an actual torpedo missile on the front of the bike. When it performs a Wheelie, it's speed actually exceeds the Jetsetter's, making it the fastest vehicle in the game. Unfortunately, apart from Speed and Weight, its other stats are far below average. Another downside is that, although it is an indrifter, it does not turn very sharply, making courses like DK Jungle Parkway and the Bowser's Castles almost impossible. The kart counterpart for this bike is the Jetsetter.
