Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is an upcoming sports game for the Wii U. It is the fifth Mario and Sonic game. Like the other Mario and Sonic games, it has both Nintendo and Sega characters. It takes place in Rio De Janeiro. The characters are Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Nabbit, Sonic, Tails, Shadow, Silver, Eggman, Knuckles, Rouge, Jet, Toad, Shy Guy, Koopa, Goomba, Lakitu, Chao, Red Birdo, Boom Boom, Egg Pawn, and Zazz.
