King K. Rool is a character in the Super Mario series. He first appeared in Donkey Kong Country. He is the ruler of the Kremlings, and is the main villain of the Donkey Kong series. He is the Kongs' arch nemesis, and has tried to take Donkey Kong's Banana Hoard several times. His name is a pun on the word 'cruel.'
